Founder and principal Ledia Karaj has led the successful completion of hundreds of luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects over more than 20 years. That experience runs deep on both sides of the industry: before founding Lux Brilliance, Ledia worked closely with the world’s leading high-end lighting manufacturers, giving her an insider’s command of what today’s fixtures and technologies can truly deliver.

How We Work
From a project’s onset, we work closely with clients to realize their design vision. We are avid listeners, passionate practitioners, and seasoned problem solvers who bring decades of experience to every collaboration — and we exercise the utmost discretion throughout, ensuring that every private residence remains exactly that.
Schematic Design/ Design Development
We meet with the client, architect, and interior designer to develop a design strategy tailored to the project, then produce a lighting plan and package issued as a pricing set to the builder and electrical contractor.
Construction Documents
We coordinate with interior designers, architects, engineers, general contractors, electricians, and other specialists to ensure the lighting design integrates seamlessly. Once final refinements are made and details are drafted, we issue a revised drawing set for construction.
Construction Administration
We take a hands-on approach, adapting the design if construction issues arise and communicating continuously with all parties, including the builder and electrical contractor.
Final Aiming
We work with the electrical contractor to adjust beam spreads and lenses to illuminate architecture, landscaping, artwork, and furniture, then coordinate with AV consultants and fine-tune lighting control scenes to balance the finished environment.
